Lindsey Graham to investigate the FBI & Hillary Clinton

Same old playbook to gin up the base. Lame

Lindsey Graham to investigate the FBI & Hillary Clinton

Buried deep in a New York Times profile on the emergence of Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) as a force within his own party comes an admission from the southern senator that he hopes to assume the chairmanship of the powerful Senate Judiciary Committee should the GOP hold onto their majority.

According to the report, Graham has emerged as a “rock star” within the party after stealing the spotlight with his angry diatribes during the Senate’s Supreme Court hearings on controversial Associate Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

With that increased influence comes a desire for more, with Graham hoping current Judiciary Chairman Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) will opt to move to head the equally powerful Finance Committee. Graham is next in line to grab the Judiciary gavel.

According to the Times, Graham has expressed an interest in using his potential newfound power to launch yet another investigation into former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

The reports states, “[Graham] said as well that he wants to become chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee after the election, if the current chairman, Senator Charles E. Grassley of Iowa, grabs the gavel of the Finance Committee. Should that happen, he said, he would initiate an oversight investigation into whether the Department of Justice and the F.B.I. were ‘in the tank’ for Mr. Trump’s 2016 opponent, Hillary Clinton, joining similar efforts in the House.”

Should Grassley stay put, there have been rumors that Graham would replace Attorney General Jeff Sessions, who is expected to either step down or be fired by President Donald Trump after the midterms. Graham’s Senate seat then could open up for former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, who recently stepped down as the U.S. ambassador to the U.N.

I'm especially liking how desperate Republicans are right now. The last several days they have suddenly sounded like liberals vowing to protect people with pre-existing conditions when it comes to healthcare even though all the bills they actually put forward and voted on didn't do that.

They are straight up shameless.

Bladewire is against investigating crimes by Democrats :1orglaugh

Newsflash: The Clintons and their fraud charity scam have been under at least 5 investigations for several months.

And of course the FBI should be investigated. What, you think FISAgate isn't real?

James Comey, Director – FIRED
Andrew McCabe, Deputy Director - FIRED
Jim Rybicki, Chief of Staff and Senior Counselor – FIRED
James Baker, General Counsel – FIRED
Bill Priestap, Director of Counterintelligence (Strzok’s boss) – Cooperating witness [power removed]
Peter Strzok, Deputy Assistant Director of Counterintelligence – FIRED
Lisa Page, Office of General Counsel – FIRED/FORCED
Mike Kortan, Assistant Director for Public Affairs – FIRED

...the list goes on...

Great thread, Bladwire :thumbsup

They should have an investigation. Seriously. Republicans love investigations.

All kidding aside... We need to change the rules. What we need to do is.... Anyone who wants to run for "higher office" needs to have a FULL investigation, meaning a year long dozens of agents looking into every aspect of their life. Then, every two years there should be a follow up investigation - using different agents. We need to pull at every string that comes loose. Then this.... Anyone who lies to the FBI in any form gets life in prison. Period. This would prevent people from "falsely" accusing someone with rape - no one is going to risk life in prison in a vain attempt to make someone look bad.

Furthermore... Any government official who initiates a investigation into another government official without proper cause, without evidence, and without any proof of any crime being committed... Should be removed from office and never allowed to work in a government position (or lobbyist) again - ever. We had a dozen investigations into Hillary Clinton and she never even remotely accused of a crime. It just was not a crime for a Secretary of State to run email off of their own server (in fact, it was very common and members of Congress did this too), and she had nothing to do with Benghazi at all. We had a dozen investigations and no one was ever indicted. At the same time, we have ONE single investigation into Trump which has now turned up dozens of indictments and then guilty pleas.

This shit needs to stop. If someone in our government orders an investigation and no charges are filed, they should lose their job. If local and state district attorneys keep pressing charges and keep losing in court, they lose their jobs.

This is exactly the reason Republicans need to lose this election.

Hey dumb dumb... you realize Muller purposely went dark on his investigation the 60 days before the election so as so no one could claim he's interfering with the mid terms..

It's going to be very real after the Tuesday.. He didn't go away...

And anyday now Hillary gonna get locked up.. Muslims gonna get banned and that wall will get built..

Seems to me the investigation is moving forward, people are being indicted left and right, and now Mueller is submitting questions to Trump. This is a very large and very serious investigation. It's not going to be "over in two years". Watergate went on for six years, and some sixty people were indicted. This is just beginning.

This is great news!

They'll investigate the question: "Why isn't Hillary Clinton the president of the USA right now?"

And also they'll investigate the question: "Why did the FBI sit on the Steele Dossier instead of using it to impeach and arrest Trump for collusion with Russia?"

These are burning questions we all want to know.

Maybe when Democrats sweep the mid terms, this investigation will get underway quicker.
