And it's not only ironic considering CNN's lies and bullshit for 3 years straight, but even in this particular case: A fear mongering headline criticizing Trumps supposed fear mongering.

Well I don't see why you need to lie, go ahead and look, I don't post about Fox often but when I do it's negative. In fact I post much more often about how I watch CNN all day. Sometimes its MSNBC but they are the same thing in the end so it's no big difference.

Instead of campaigning on his accomplishments, he is campaigning on a routine event at our border - people waiting in lines and filling out forms to legally gain access to the US.

Not as much as you might think. Individual campaigns are attacking opponents as we have always seen, but this election has seen a handful of ads that basically are either "vote Democrat" or "vote Republican." The Democrat ads have all been about healthcare, tax cuts for the middle class, education etc. They have (at least the ones I have seen) been pretty positive. The Republican ads make it look like Democrats are willingly letting in murderers and like there is an invasion force gathered at the border trying to get in.

In short, Democrat ads are "look what we can do for you" and Republican ads are "The Democrats will kill you and steal everything you own and only we can protect you."

As a matter of fact, they are. The Republicans are campaigning on "The brown people are coming, we will protect our borders, so we sent in military troops to put up barbed wire and shovel horseshit". The Democrats are campaigning on "the Republicans are just trying to scare you for no reason at all".
