I heard the news on the TV and it didn't mention colour. I only found the suspect was coloured after I found the online report.

Paul added that description to his quote from the article making it seem as if it was legitimate reported news in the article he referenced, which it wasn't.

Paul also changed the wording of the tweet you referenced to state that the shooter was indeed Middle Eastern, not "middle eastern looking"
