Fire in Paradise California

Thursday morning at 6:30am a fire started in Paradise, California, that quickly grew to eighty thousand acres and destroyed 95% of the entire town. It's stunning to see an entire town completely destroyed with what started as a small, simple fire.

A couple named Fred and Jackie drove out of town with the cats and recorded the destruction....

Here is another video of another family driving out of the fire with flames on both sides of the road.... It's just batshit crazy and you are thinking they are going to die and then suddenly they drive out of the smoke and into clear skies...

One of the videos had a cigarette lighter on the dashboard too. I thought that to ironic.

Watched the reports on the news. Horrific.

This is now the most destructive fire in California history. I live eighty miles away from the fire, and the smoke is unbearable here.

I took this picture at 3pm today....

We had something similar in 2010 during the massive forest fires near to Moscow. I was barely able to see a next building from my window because of smoke. It was almost impossible to breathe. Some people have died. I mean the old ones and those who had heart- and lungs-related problems. They were just unable to suffer that smoke and heatstrokes - it was too hot on the streets because of anomaly warm and sunny summer w/o rains.

The situation in Cali is real awful and I feel for you guys :(

We're humans, we're extravagant.

This one was the one I remember in 2003. I avoided it by driving up to Tempe in my then Prius... Although it was nowhere near as bad as the current one, I still remember driving down the freeway with flames and smoke on both sides of me...
