Picture it... A democrat, with a shotgun.... shootin shit up. Boom BooM Boom. I dont know.. maybe just out hunting ducks?

Then say.. I am pro gun... but against assault rifles and high capacity magazines.

How would that go down?

"assault rifle" …. such a stupid thing to want banned. Many other guns are far more powerful than these. Funny thing is, nobody on the left is calling for the banning of 30-06 rifles.


And here's your "high capacity mag" concern flushed down the toilet by a cop!

It would be a popular campaign and might build a bridge.

I've got some shocking news for you. Nicholas Cruz, the Parkland shooter, used 10 round mags rather than 30 rounders. And his entire rampage went entirely uncontested.

The theory that stopping after 10 rounds is going to give someone extra opportunities to tackle a shooter as he reloads is pretty stupid. This was actually attempted during the Sandy Hook incident by a school employee, who then got shot.

Ok, then.. let them take ALL the guns then.

If you don't like gun crimes, build more prisons. Get the savages locked up for various reasons before they graduate up to killing with guns. Reopen the involuntary commitment mental institutions as well.
