We had a problem with fake news here in my home town yesterday. Our town is covered in smoke from the big fire, and someone on a local Facebook group asked if there was a fire locally. Someone else quickly followed up with a link to an article on a local news site about a fire near the casino. People freaked out and started packing up, preparing to leave.

It turns out the article was from two years ago.

Again with the Jim Acosta video? It was zoomed in. That's it. It was not "doctored." Even the president said it was not doctored. Jim Acosta clearly put his hand on that intern.

But yeah, keep getting "news" from CNN and MSNBC, who have been caught spreading fake news over & over.

The video re-tweeted by SHS was (a) presented out of context, (b) had the sound removed, (c) zoomed in, and most importantly, (d) had 3 frames deleted from exactly the time Acosta moved his arm down making his movement seem faster, almost violent. Your continued defence of all all things Trumpy is sad.

Mark, what do you think happens when you convert a video clip to a .gif file and then upload it to Twitter? A .gif has no sound because it's an image file, not a video, and uploading to Twitter means it will be compressed. No one "removed frames" from it. It was zoomed in. So fucking what, the fake media is trying to distract from Acosta's action by making up this grand conspiracy theory. You got duped by fake news :1orglaugh
