Best script etc for video and pic members site
 

Besides Elevated X and any other options like that. I just need something to build one big site that will play video and have video galleries. Maybe a wordpress theme? Already have a CCBill account.

Any special script etc or just tour on outside and members area on inside?

The plugins you need depend on the theme you choose and how that theme handles categories.

I have a transparent tour so what you see on the outside is what you get on the inside minus the videos.

You'll definitely need a free permalink plugin to create & protect your members area, like Permalink Manager or Permalinks Customizer.

Depending on your theme you might need the WP Hide Post plugin to hide your members area posts from the front page.

You'll want the plugin named Hide Plugins as well.

Just pick your theme and go from there.

WordPress is so easy to use I'll never go back to anything else unless WordPress starts to suck.

The "membership" plugins you can buy are really top heavy and slow down the server.

Yes I am familiar with it, very true. I'll think about that as an option. I'll shoot again if I find some sexy new amateurs and/or if I would get orders from someone to shoot. Not really in the market to just shoot to build up content.

Some people use Mechbunny for stuff like this, it basically does what you need for a paysite members area and at a one-time cost instead of monthly.

The answer depends on your budget, your skills and how much the project is worth to you.

I think if you want something simple, go with Elevated-X and have them install everything. Pay for a theme and integration and off you go!

I tried the MechBunny solution. It works until you want to customize something. Then you'll need a coder (if you don't know how to code yourself) or pay Konrad to modify the script for you. Like Elevated-X, the structure can be quite rigid.

If you want the cheap solution, go with WP. It'll require some work to setup, but you'll eventually get the job done.
