Google Analytics Now Showing Organic Search Terms?
I just noticed I have access to most of the keywords searched to get to my site organically. Before it would say (Not Provided) as the majority.
Now I'm seeing very specific info. Is this new? |
Search terms are passed on by some other search engines, Google doesn't pass them on.

As far as I know google does not pass search keywords via google analytics to users who are logged in to google, but you can view them on the search console
|
Did you recently link your webmaster tools to your GA ?? You can do that, and it shows the details in GA that you normally have to log into WT to get :) Sounds like that is what is happening :2 cents:

Nope. they won't give you that data, and it will be even harder in the future. If visitors are not signed inside their Google account, then there is a chance you will see it.
The trend is to take all info from us and later earn money on that monopoly. Smart people are doing as much researches as possible and then saving that data for the future. Google is already blocking info for many explicit keywords, or at least what they consider explicit. Terrible practice, I am seeing it all the time and it is just a matter of time when they will cut info for most of the porn keywords. |
They just give you the data if you buy it, meaning if you are running adwords that information is passed.

If you've linked your Google Webmaster account to your analytics then you would have access to more keyword information. |
