Dr Matawele said: ‘Seeing Staphylococcus on these machines is worrying because it is so contagious. ‘It starts around people’s noses, if they touch their nose with their fingers and then transfer it to the touchscreen someone else will get it, and if they have an open cut which it gets into, then it can be dangerous.

Problem however is that I have seen staff assist customers who are unsure how to use the touchscreens and after helping them, they return to the counter/prep areas.

I use Wawa and Sheetz touch screens all the time. But I also was born and raised in NYC, gotta grab them shit bars when there's no seats left on the train and all the doors have somebody leaning on them already. I barely ever get sick.

Yep, they once made test of smoothies in popular places in town and most of them were positive on feces. Basicly, you cant avoid it , you can find it even on mobile phone.
