What's a good program for writing DVDs and CDs?

It's in the signature. I need a program to write DVD discs and CD discs. I tried to download Nero and it completely fucked up and refused to download the last 5% and then crashed. They gave me my money back.

Here's a bump to get an answer.

NatalieK 12-01-2018 04:20 AM

was going to suggest Nero, but otherwise, if you´ve had problems, either Roxio & Pinnacle´s reasonable & doesn´t windows media do this?

nico-t 12-01-2018 04:47 AM

Windows media player.

I didn't know you could do it with Windows media player, let's give it a go.

Seems it works fine. Thanks folks.

DVDs and CDs? What are those things? :1orglaugh

Man, you are showing your age.

sleazyashell 12-01-2018 08:02 AM

nero or power iso should be good.. I've used both at some point in time

RedFred 12-01-2018 08:31 AM

Is this an old thread from 2001?

CDs are what we play music in our car on. DVDs are for small clients who buy one girls content. Cheap, easy and fast.

Storing the whole lot on a Cloud turned out to be either expensive or/and bloody inconvenient. When people buy the lot it goes onto a hard drive and in the post.

I've got a 64 gig card in my S9 phone and I listen to music through Bluetooth.

As far as content what others said about dropbox. My laptop doesn't even have a cd or dvd drive and I've never had issues cause software I download and I have several 1 and 2 TB external drives.

Will look into that. Can I send people just ten sets by exasperating them into a different file so they just download 10 sets?

What about other people in the car?

If I was to use headphones while my wife drove me, she would smack me on the head. :Oh crap.

When we were working we had 10 hard drives. Now I'm retired just have a 2TB one. If I was still working I would have updated the stack computer. Now who cares.

The music does not reside on a physical CD but upon your phone. The car stereo picks up the Bluetooth signal and plays it via the incar system. Same as with a CD, but instead of the sound coming FROM a CD, it comes from your phone via Bluetooth. The controls on the car stereo operate the phone like they operate a CD

yup, I'm thinking the same thing..

um, you can connect your smartphone to your car's radio via Bluetooth and listen to mp3 songs on it in your car's speakers.

Do I need to draw you a picture or something?

freecartoonporn 12-02-2018 08:56 PM

your car stereo works as bluetooth headset. if it has bluetooth.

you enable bluetooth on your phone and pair tit with your car stereo .

then whatever song you play on your phone, the sound comes out from your car speakers.

simple as that.

i even turned my old hi-fi music systems into bluetooth by adding just small bluetooth receiver.

Paul Markham 12-03-2018 04:58 AM

I never knew about Bluetooth pairing with the car radio, not stupid just not up with all the gadgets.

What's the download speed of Dropbox like and can I separate say 10 sets and grant access to only that ten?

dropbox speed depends on the speed of your phone's internet. songs will be actually playing in your phone but just the sound will be coming from car stereo.

i didnt get the other part though, what are 10 sets ?

good luck.

10 image sets or one video. The business I do is with professionals, so they should have computers and home connections.

I get it with my phone, next time I'm in the car I will try to hook it up.

The speed is faster than shipping a DVD. We live in a time when people would rather download product rather than have to wait 2-5 days for a copy of it to show up. It is easier for you and the customer cause you don't have to ship it out.

and yes you should be able to ship out just the 10 sets or one video.

Thank You. Will get 1TB one I feel better.

BurnAware is simple and free. Works very well.

I feel like I just time traveled back to 1998, but for Paul it's just a regular 'ol Tuesday. What happened? Did the reel to reel finally shit the bed?

Paul Markham 12-05-2018 09:29 AM

You will be happy to know I've gone for the 2tb option on Dropbox and soon will be able to sell without the use of CDs and DVDs.
