For content producers: Similarweb custom report for the clipstore market (10.2018)
 

Hey guys,
I track the clipstores market on my Similarweb account and want to share with you the results for the October 2018. It looks really interesting.

Which clipstore is performing best for you?

Can you even upload to MyDirtyHobby as a producer?

I'd be interested to see how much each store produces for you in terms of % of clip income.

So you really have material at all 50 of those clip stores ??? :helpme I don't have that much time in the day :1orglaugh

I am not sure I am getting the point. I have a site with an orig. content, so why would I " feed" some clipstores or tubes ??

I was asking about performance of the market places for the content, not personal sites.

How much traffic can you generate by yourself? C4S, xHamsterpremium, MDH and Modelhub have own traffic which you couldn't get by yourself, so if you care about your income it's worth to give it a try.

No, but we promote them as affiliates and are very happy + I buy there some content from my favourite german pornstar as a user. They have low revshare for models/producers but most of the money go from cams, so for the producers it's not so interesting.

I don't really rely on 'their' traffic. I drive my own, to the main pages of my stores, as well as to individual links to specific scenes.

The best for me are MV & IWC, but I still do okay on C4S (but promote it less now, to be honest, because of their pricing restrictions).
OnlyFans has been a joke, pretty much, although I hear interesting changes are coming, which may fix that!
Probably the nicest LOOKING one is AmateurPorn, and I am fairly new to it, but doing okay so far.
You left off MyGirlVids, and I do fair there, as well!

I am sorry for financial question, but when you drive your own traffic, do you counted the revenue are you generating on 1000 clicks? Which store is performing better?

I do not really have a way (or bother to take the time to so it) because it is mostly social media (Twitter primarily) driven.
The particular stores, vary from time to time, but, as I see it MV & IWC are best...but, I promote them way more too, as I stated, because of C4S parameters of pricing.

For Twitter, you might find their analytics useful at https://analytics.twitter.com/user/AmeliaG/home but replace AmeliaG with your Twitter handle.

It can give you ballpark numbers for which model or specific content you are sending traffic on from that channel.

You have any luck with your photography on any of those platforms, or only video?

Thanks! Ya, I know of their analytics, and they are great. I just don't bother.
{Several twitter accounts, and way too much other work to do, to do that, frankly. That's one reason I have also been WAY less active here on GFY this last 2-3 years, LOL!}

On Twitter, I do a mix of my clip stores, web sites, and VOD sites.
The one 'primarily' photos place, also does video, so even there, I have recently started adding video, and don't consider that a 'photos only' place. But, it (since I started 2 years ago) has made the effort <of posting content as well as promoting it>worthwhile.

Hmmm I guess I am a bit off here....my VOD site charges 27 Euros per purchase and 15 Euros for 48 h rental.

Now, any of these guys ( if they pay) they'll pay a few pennies per stream ( I presume ?)
So even at 10 cents/ stream I would have to get 300 streams equivalent to one purchase.
What am I not getting ??
