How hard is it to get citizenship in the USA from Canada?
 

Does the fact that I get paid from companies in the US enough? Or do I have to marry an American?

It's a bit of a pain in the ass.

My understanding is that you will have to apply for a green card. There are a variety of eligibility requirements. If you qualify and you get the card you are now a legal, permanent resident of the country. From there you can start the process of getting a citizenship. It can take years to go through that process and I'm not sure what all it entails.

You have to get married, or apply for a green card, or see if you qualify for an H1-B Visa.

You'll never qualify for an H1-B visa in porn or as a stripper. Won't happen. So give that up.

I don't know what you mean by "show that I'm getting paid from US companies", hopefully, you mean that while in your own country and not when coming to the US and working illegally. Trust me you don't want to do that.

Lastly, the easiest way is to get married but then you can't work in the US (legally) for like a year while you go through the initial process. So that also can be a problem.

Hahaha actually I was planning to escape from my ex husband and go to Tennessee to live with my friend who is stil married to her shitty ex because she wants his healthcare. I can’t go illegally I need my medications. I guess I need to stay here for my healthcare too.
