The Dems run the same old same old, they will lose. A lot of people voted for Trump as a fuck you to the establishment, their jobs are going bye-bye and no one seems to give a shit. Yet we just witnessed the largest landslide victory of any party in the mid terms.. I think those people who voted for Trump "just because" realized how badly they fucked up..

I'm thinking Kamala Harris wins North Carolina over Joe Biden and goes on to the nomination. It's very premature, but I suggest she wins by 2% and 50 electoral in the general. It won't be a blowout, it won't be easy, and it will be against Trump. Of course I was wrong last time, predicted Clinton would win by small electoral margin. It will be sad to see geriatric Joe and bumbling Bernie fuck the process up again like they did last time, but I guess they won't realize that their time is done.

One thing that I think helps the Democrats is that Trump is now the known quantity. Before he was all bluster and promises and he talked a good game that a lot of middle class blue collar people listened to. He hasn't delivered on those things and many of those voters voted Democrat during the midterms.

Trump, like any incumbent, will have to run on his record. He still has two years which is a long time, but I can't see it getting better for him, only worse.

If the Democrats run Hilary, they will likely lose. I think any other Democrat has a real shot at beating Trump. That said, I would prefer they ran someone young who can energize the young voters like Obama did.

Trump barely beat Hilary and she was the most disliked candidate in history and she was under active investigation. He could barely beat her then, I think he is going to struggle mightily against someone without her baggage while having to defend himself.

That's not really true.. Hillary had what was it 4 or 6 million more votes than Trump? Added to this there was an attack on our election process and much of the negitive shit that pissed people off about Hillary was lies..

It's more than clear that the people chose Hillary over Trump. Trump only won because Republicans figured out how to cheat and game our election process to give them enough electoral votes due to having illegally gerrymandered key states which gave them a bigger share of electors than they should have had.

All those seats Democrats just won, also changed the map for the electoral vote for 2020. This was a very big win for Democrats and the next 2 elections its Republicans who have the most seats up for grabs in the Senate.

Who cares if she got more votes if she lost the election? You can complain about the process all you want. But the fact remains, whoever wins the next election will have those same goal posts in place so complaining about that is a waste of time.

It has to do with the annointed POTUS acting as if he has a voter mandate as POTUS, which he doesn't. This is one of the biggest flaws of the Trump presidency.

When you don't have a voter mandate you bring people together so you can push your agenda Trump did exactly the opposite and that's why he'll be a one-term president.

The midterm elections were a resounding rebuttal of the Trump presidency.

When the "winner" in the future loses the popular vote by 70,000,000 votes in the future you'll say the same thing... "Who cares" you're completely ignorant on this topic and where things are headed where tens of millions of voters will feel disenfranchised every election.
