I live in Northern California just north of Sacramento. (I call it "Northern California ish".) It's going to be 37 degrees here tonight. That's a bit cold for us. Thursday it will be 57 which is also a bit cold.

Yeah I live in tahoe, it's been cold with more snow than usual for this time of year.

Climate change is obviously still a huge issue, but (for now at least) on a local scale you're gonna feel the effects of variance way more than a slowly-rising global average

30 years from now though...fuuuuuuck. Worried I'll have to off myself before then.

Here in SoCal today it rained for the second time this week, all day! :banana

I can't remember the last time it rained more than once in a week. I can't remember the last time it rained here maybe a few months ago?

Its "climate change," not global warming. Its real, and its happening now.

Mark my words, everyone on earth will be dead within 6 months because of the climate change you refused to believe in. And I'll be right here in 6 months to say "see, I told you so" before I spontaneously combust from the atmosphere reaching flash-point temperatures.

that IS cold depending on what country you live in. Cyprus has temperatures similar to California and during winter nights the temperature used to approach 0C (32F) and it was really cold, though i'm used to -20C winters (-4F).

if a building was not projected for low temperatures it is really uncomfortable to live it. of course, you are not going to die of freezing, i agree, but comparing to a well insulated house during a winter storm that is shit. :2 cents:

When i lived in San Diego i dont ever remember it getting cold enough to have to turn on the heating in the house for more than a week or two during the winter.

But here in Maine I woke up to 10F this morning ( Or 22 below freezing)

I fully expect it to get to -20F during this winter ( 52 below freezing ) like it did last year. I personally don't mind the cold its the 80- 140 inches of snow thats a bitch to clear away!

Winter doesn't start for another 2 weeks. We're still in Autumn.
