This Years Model - 1% payout

1% revshare... how generous

ianmoone332000 12-07-2018 07:07 AM

Adultworks revshare is 3% and lasts for 3 months !

Paul Markham 12-07-2018 07:23 AM

1% of $1,000 is $10.

50% Of diddly squat is diddly squat.

Choose the rate you want.

What has always amazed me is no matter what a site spends on developing the product, their conversion ratio, the assistance they give, etc. Affiliates want to start at 50%.

SBJ 12-07-2018 07:58 AM

just checked and I'm still at 50% but I don't promote them because of the whole join page swaps. That's the same guy, right?

So you must've pissed them off or didn't reply to an email about the way you were promoting. If you've made sales in the past I'd email them otherwise just remove links and move on. :helpme

blackmonsters 12-07-2018 08:02 AM

What?

.

CaptainHowdy 12-07-2018 08:33 AM

Sign of the dimes . . .

NatalieK 12-07-2018 01:47 PM

on the affiliate page, it says 50/50 partners...

I´m still 50% on my affiliate program too & sales are booming atm :thumbsup

I resent that comment sir. This notion of blaming the affiliate for the shit a sponsor does is a bunch of bullshit. I only signed up to their program about a month ago. I only had a few links up at the moment, and I don't promote in any type of shady way. In the 20 odd years of being in this industry, I have seen just about everything. I have refused to do business with a large number of people over those years because of shady practices. I also ran a CCBill affiliate program (60%) and not once did I ever drop an affiliates payouts.

I got a check from CCBill last night in my mailbox, and I went to check to see where those signups came from, and low and behold, this years model was set to 1%. Not once did I receive an email from them, and not once did I break any type of TOS.

Sometimes peoples greed make them total fucking retards because now, I can surely say I am very reluctant to want to promote them at all. And there is nothing an email is going to do now to change that feeling because I am not looking to get future fucked.

AdultKing 12-07-2018 04:46 PM

Added to my sponsor shitlist.

What are everyone's thoughts on the slider at the bottom of their front page ?? There is an image at the front of the rotation that has this on it:

"buying a subscription is like buying an underage model a drink"

it sit's on a red background with most of the text in blue and grey, but the words "an underage model" are in white, meant to stand out.

I know we are all sons of bitches that spew porn for a living, but I'm not sure I'm ok with that kind of verbiage, especially when it's highlighted like it is :Oh crap

oh well, to each his own :pimp

honestly I don't think SBJ was blaming you for this, in his post he alluded to not promoting them due to other practices he finds problematic.

but he raises an interesting point; this fuck over is not across the board. Natalie confirmed it. so maybe they skimp where they can or couldn't be bothered to email you with whatever concerns they have (I'm assuming you signed up with an email you check often). who knows, but it's fuckery if they have a decent contact method for you

it's bullshit to steal by cutting payout percentage with no warning and no reason (that they bothered to let you know about at least)

pretty sure everyone here agrees

bless those awesome men who bought me drinks (expecting nothing in return) when I was overtly underage but on a porn site? not appropriate

I get the fantasy they are trying to evoke but real men don't need to get a chica drunk to get laid

I dunno, honestly never heard about the site until this thread. I agree with you OP that after being treated in this manner you have no recourse but to move on.

to better things

Ya I'll bet that wasn't there when ccbill reviewed the site :2 cents:

I’ll step up and be the affiliate manager for This Years Model on GFY. No one else can answer this thread because no else is registered here. Amy our web girl registered with GFY a few years ago but never got approved. Michelle, the model who books our models, also tried but there was some problem. She forgot about it.

I heard about this 1% problem just a few days ago when a new affiliate emailed Amy @ TYM and noticed the problem. We thought it must be a mistake but it was true. We discovered that the rev share portion for affiliates has been automatically set at 1% since July 1 2018. This means any affiliate that has signed on to TYM has been set as 1% since that time. (Those who signed up before that were not affected) We don’t know why. We contacted CCbill about it today. They don’t know why. (Our best guess is the number was changed when a mailer trade was done in July with an affiliate where we mutually reduced the affiliate share to zero.)

We corrected every affiliate account manually back to 50/50. 19 affiliates have signed up with us since July. We saw 2 sales from one affiliate that were affected by 1% problem. This affiliate was truly cheated out of 49% of his sale - twice. We did not notice. He did not notice. He did not contact us. We contacted him yesterday. He has not replied yet.

‘Like buying an (underage girl) a drink.’ I thought that was funny? No? Ye without sin cast the first stone.

TYM is not difficult to contact. No one is avoiding or hiding. They send out 2 affiliate emails a week. The email address is everywhere.

So you are not connected with CatieMinx.com one of mutts ex-sites where the new owner was caught swapping out the ccbill join? his webmaster page has your email listed.

Oh look, more of your ignorant ass nonsense even though you have 0 useful experience involving anything that isn't taking terrible images and videos of underpaid naked girls.

Yup believe this bullshit at your own risk cause this thread proves this isn't the first time he's been shady.

Damn, I was thinking most programs were selling maybe 10 or 20 sales a day, I´d personally like to see more than a sale a day on my program...

amazed at these figures & welcoming affiliates to sign up to my program, put a banner on their blog or site & start making a few hundred quid a week!

JohnE 12-12-2018 03:43 AM

Is this thread serious? 'Shady shit', 'caught cheating'. Is this a business discussion? I am not exactly on my way to the airport with a suitcase full of your cash. It was 2 sales (TYM owes someone 30 dollars) Catieminx.com does maybe one sale per month, affiliate or otherwise. The addition of Verotel was meant to lower our processing fees for non-affiliate sale. Affiliate sales are few than ever but affiliate sales are still paid out from CCBill. No one is not getting a check for their current or past sales.

This is a pretty angry discussion about business practices. Obviously, there isn't a lot of business to be angry about.
