Weird or cool the new editor?

It Fucking sucks! It's not working right with Yoast SEO Premium so all the blogs are double reds but they are really double greens.

If today couldn't get any worse I'm getting the flu. I don't need this crap!

I think this new option with block has more fun and make posting easier, for simple posts only.

OK so far...

Awful. Thanks goodness you can go back to classic. The new one looks slicker and has some benefits if you're doing certain types of posts, but overall it just feels like change for the sake of change.

WordPress 4.9.8 is still secure, so stay on it for a week or two while all the bigger plugins get the kinks worked out :2 cents:

Ya, I wish my boss could switch back cause it's my job to edit blogs to make them SEO friendly and I can't do that when Yoast SEO Premium says a 600-word blog has zero words to it. lol

nope, but she knows the issues I'm having so hopefully we will get it figured out in the coming days. I can still fix the big things that I know need to be fixed but will have to make a note to go back and spot check these once we get it figured out I guess.

You can use the "Classic Editor" plugin to get the old look back.. It works fine. :thumbsup

I hate the update.

Put this code in your functions php file to go back to old editor.

I am not a big fan of it, but I will eventually get used to it.

Now I have to write code to support this new block editor ugh.

This is what I decided to do after a one day totally crazy with the new version.

Unless it's a security update, better to wait for 5.0.1 when any bugs get fixed.

just updated one of my sites to check it... it fucking sucks! :mad: will definitely go back to the old editor.
