Supreme Court gives win to Planned Parenthood

The GOP tried to defund Planned Parenthood based on lies, and lost the case, they appealed to the supreme court who declined to hear their case that they lost :thumbsup

Supreme Court sides with Planned Parenthood in funding fight

Its a pretty bad sign when a stacked court with at least one crazed nutter still wont side with their own team. That's how far out of reality the rightbwing nuts are..

I still do not understand this entire debate about abortion.

My wife got pregnant while we were first dating, and we decided to have an abortion. This was the best decision we have ever made as a couple. We were not ready to have children at the time. We were not married, and not in a financial place where we could have children. Years later when we were properly married and I had graduated from college, we had one kid. It worked out perfect.

This is none of anyone's business. Abortion is perfectly legal and perfectly safe; No one should have the right to make such decisions for us. No one should be able to tel us we could not have an abortion - It was our decision and no one else should have any say in it.

Don't like abortion - fine - then don't get an abortion. I don't like people who buy Subarus, but I don't think we should outlaw people from buying Subarus or driving them. I also don't like Ugg boots but again, we shouldn't outlaw them. (I also don't like crocs either.)

Some else's religion does not make decisions for me.

Congrats to Planned Parenthood and to all women across the US.

That, and also we should not have any say in a womans right to choose.

I agree that it's a touchy subject, but I think we can make things a little easier for women by all men backing out of the decision process completely.

The Raplican party that has no morals still believes they are the moral majority...

I have an easy solution to fight abortions: use condoms or other forms of birth control - or stop fucking girls when you are not ready to become a father and oppose abortions

KAVANAUGH JOINS LIBERALS TO PROTECT PRO-PLANNED PARENTHOOD RULING

"The dissent was significant because it indicates that Justice Brett Kavanaugh sided with the high court’s liberal wing to deny review of a lower court decision that favored the nation’s largest abortion provider.

Justices Samuel Alito and Neil Gorsuch joined the Thomas dissent, meaning there were three votes in favor of taking the case. Since four votes are needed for the Supreme Court to take up a case, the opinion indicates that Chief Justice John Roberts and Kavanaugh joined with the four liberals to deny review.

This move could indicate that Roberts and Kavanaugh are loath to take take up an abortion-related question in the aftermath of Kavanaugh’s contentious confirmation. The Court’s new junior justice has generally kept a low profile since taking the bench in October."

I found this interesting too when I first read it....

You have to be careful how you read into this.
The case will likely be back under different circumstances that may 'pass the test'.

The clueless leftists are in favor of PP getting $500 million taxpayer dollars every year. They only offered about 8,000 prenatal services to mothers last year, compared to 321,384 abortions.

Reported revenue of $1.3 billion annually.
Reported $127 million in net income and reported holding $1.4 billion in assets for 2013-2014.

Salaries at Planned Parenthood are lucrative. President Cecile Richards was paid more than $2.47 million from 2009 to 2013, including $590,928 in 2013.
A significant number of Planned Parenthood executives earn in excess of $200,000 annually.

Planned Parenthood spends millions on travel, galas and real estate. Spends nearly $14,000 a day on travel.

Spent $34.8 million in 2011 to purchase corporate office space two blocks from Madison Square Garden.

Taxpayer dollars subsidize Planned Parenthood’s political affiliates.

Planned Parenthood’s claim that only “three percent” of all health services provided are abortion services is false.

Over the last decade, cancer screenings at Planned Parenthood are declining while abortions are increasing.

In 2008, Live Action showed how 10 Planned Parenthood clinics in 6 different states flagrantly violate mandatory reporting laws for child sexual abuse. When presented with a very young girl impregnated by a much older man, these clinics ignored clear cases of statutory rape, coached the girl to lie about her age or the man’s age so the abuse would not be reported, and, when applicable, circumvented parental consent laws so the girl’s parents would never find out about the abortion and the sexual relationship with the older man could continue.

They also illegally sell organs and fetal tissue. So they earn plenty of money, why are we giving them $500 million in taxpayer money??

:pimp

I told you Libs Kavanaugh had changed his stance on you aborting your children after the BS you put him through.. He's probably going to start doing abortions himself. At the very least part timing handing out morning after pills at liberal rallies.

kane 12-10-2018 05:47 PM

Is there sudden buyers remorse on the right for Kavanaugh?

He's just laying low. He'll be a renegade judge in a year or so. It's too soon to show his true colors without being permanently villainized at the rest of his life.

Related cases will come up and he'll fall in line just like the rest.

The only thing this truly shows is that they could find nothing wrong with the way the lower court applied the law. You would have to read the case to know.

That is the criteria for taking the issue up.

However, they do have the power to grab one from a lower court before decision. But I don't know the criteria for that. I believe they did that with the 'citizens united' case.

This has got to be the dumbest biggest line of bullshit that has ever came from you, and that's saying a lot. So with 650 clinics you're saying each clinic only provides prenatal services to 11 women a year. Holy fuck you're retarded.

PS - Quit pretending that you live in America
