The man got nine months in jail for having child porn and storing it on Federal land. What’s wrong with this picture? Years in jail or nine months for each picture sounds fair. Wait, they found thousands of photos in his home last year, too. Yet he’s charged with one count of each charge.

Either he has relatives in the court or paid big bucks in bribes. Seriously, what laws allow such small sentences for these crimes? They catch eighteen-year old boys with nude pics of sixteen-year old girls and they get two years. That’s nude, not having sex.

A man from Washington state was sentenced to nine months behind bars last week after federal officials found a child pornography stash in his illegally built "fairy" treehouse on federal land.Daniel Wood, 57, pleaded guilty Nov. 20 to one count of second-degree possession of child pornography and one count of second-degree attempted viewing of child pornography, the Seattle Post-Intelligencer reported.

A U.S. Department of Natural Resources employee had heard rumors in the hiking community about a cabin built illegally in the Snoqualmie National Forest, about 50 miles east of Seattle. The federal employee triedhaunsuccessfully to locate the cabin himself five times in 2016, according to an FBI report.

The home was known to the U.S. Forest Service for seven years and had last been examined by the agency three years earlier.

After finding the tree house in November 2016, the employee found framed images of child pornography mounted on the walls, including a montage of five large photos displayed across a bed.

He took some photos and brought them to the King County Sheriff’s Office, according to the PI.

The remote structure featured a porch surrounding the home and a ladder that hung about 8 feet off the ground. In 2017, the FBI searched the cabin and found dozens of photos of young girls fastened to the walls. Several items were taken that contained DNA sampleshaand fingerprints that matched Woods.

Authorities seized thousands of child porn images and videos at Wood’s home in Mill Creek in February of this year. Many matched photos that appeared to be printed out, taped together and hung in the cabin.

One sheriff’s detective described the cabin as an "an elaborate treehouse that resembled a fairy or gingerbread house.”

As part of his sentence, Woods will not be allowed to have contact with children without supervision for 10 years, must register as a sex offender and undergo sexual deviancy treatment.

He loved kiddie porn so much, he decided to give up civilization for it...and that didn't work.

Clearly he had fantasies of kidnapping a child and taking them to that gingerbread tree house. Awesome news that the guy got caught.

What only nine months in jail?

Great conversation for an industry forum. Brilliant stuff as always. Great for search engines too.

It's called a plea bargain. Lighter sentence offered in exchange for a guilty plea to avoid the expense of a trial and the chance of the prosecution losing in court.

They found thousands of images last year. They have photos of the photos on the walls. On what basis could he lose? Illegal entry? It’s federal land. Harassment? It was reported to them; they didn’t stalk him.

Nine months seems too light even for a plea bargain, given his history. But, why isn’t he in jail for lady year’s haul of thousands of images?

It’s like you get the luring words to read the story but you get partial details. Why didn’t the reporter get more information and ask questions? Why leave us hanging with questions?

A plea for a few photos is acceptable unless he has history with child porn. Where did he obtain it? If providing that information, then the plea bargain makes sense.

I’ll do a little looking around tomorrow. If I start now I’ll be up all night.

Possibly it would be hard proving that he printed out the photos and put the photos up there and on the photos and owned the tree house. Maybe he inhabited it later in the original person that created it and put the photos up had moved on?

Anyway the guy is caught he's in jail and he's going to be on probation. He's a marked Man. Good news!

Seems like a setup.

The cabal doesn't like it when Americans deviate away from the financial slavery system that centers around housing. Building a place outside of their system is definitely a no-no.

Pictures like this are pictures of a child being molested, in this case many children. Lock him up and throw away the key.

One of my cousins has a shithead kid who ran away when he was 17. He turned 18 while he was gone and stole some stuff from someone's tent at a national forest. Due to it being federal land he got 3 years.

9 months for CP seems a bit light.. on the flip side though.. what was the cp, was it actually CP or was it animated cp or under age teen girls in suggested poses ect..ect..

What I'm getting at is there is a big difference if he had actual rape of a child pictures/videos vs having some teen girl flashing their boobs or something.
