Lost interest in game of thrones?

It has been so long since the last season that I have mostly lost interest in watching the new season that is coming in april...even with the zombie ice dragon and the walkers and shit finally arriving I just seem to have cooled down to the entire story...I mean I will watch it and shit, but its just not giving me wood like it did before...

That's the issue with Netflix binge watching. It's so easy to blow through seasons leaving too much time in between. But it's hard not to binge.

this 2 years pause really cooled down the fire

I still haven't seen the last season when I guess winter finaly came.. by this point I need to rewatch the entire thing again.....

Or am I actually up to date? Last season I saw was the season they were up north and the white walkers chased them into the water and they escaped by boat..

I assume there was a season since then because that was a long ass time ago..

Endured whole season. Too lazy to start second one... there is actually not much action or big scenes as they said.

It has came in the one single minute of the last episode. It wasn't worth to watch the whole season for that :2 cents:

The first season sets the table.

The battles don't start until around season three and they get progressively bigger in scope all the way through season 7. I don't know how they could top what happened last season.

Stick with it...you'll see some battle scenes with the brutality of Braveheart and the scope of Lord of the Rings with moments that'll make you jump up off your couch. It's the best show ever and you'll know what I mean if you actually watch it. And the character stuff is just as good as the battles.

I saw recently a story saying there is a battle scene in this upcoming final season that is so big it took 90 days just to shoot that battle. They claim it is the biggest battle scene ever shot. To give you some idea of the time scale, the entire movie Saving Private Ryan was shot in 93.

I have a feeling it is going to be pretty epic ending.

I did stop before the first episode ended. Right after the warriors came out of the ice mountain and had some sort of battle in a snowy forest. Then they opened their mouths....a total gibberish came out... and off I went to watch Spartacus instead. :thumbsup

As I have loads of time I will watch it during the day. All I need to know is how many naked chicks are there?

I'm impatiently waiting for the next book, the series is good but I'd prefer the book, who knows if he will ever finish it.

I want to read the books, but I have decided to wait until they are all out that way I don't devote a lot of time to something he may never finish. I wonder how long I will be waiting. :)

Yeah that was season 5, saw it last night.

I'm re-watching the whole series and it's even better this time because I'm catching lots more nuances of WTF is going on with all these plots and sub-plots and side quests....
