Niche link page, still viable?
 

Merry Christmas you guys!

First question... iyo are new link pages/sites still a viable option for someone new to the scene? I have a relatively nice Kink domain and I'd like to see it making some $.

Second question... what're the first 3 steps you'd take towards this?

I have hosting, I have the domain, I have most of the links... I just need to buy some traffic and differentiate myself from the other 50,000 link pages out there. Simple right?

Get a theme for wordpress that let's you setup your link list. HowlingWulf sell's one that looks pretty good.

Get your links plugged in, and some good text for google to spider.

Find a traffic network that has your niche, so you can filter down to that niche and buy some skimmed or pop-under traffic. I'd shoot for 1K/day to start with and watch your GA to see if your surfers are staying around and clicking off, or if they are just shutting down the tab :helpme

The next 90 days spend time each day writing 1 - 1000 word post on your niche, might want to stick some pictures or a video in there to help with "time on site" so when google starts sending traffic they will stick around for a while. Funnel them back into your links page.

Once you find a source for skimmed/pop traffic that is staying around and converting for you bump up the daily buy :thumbsup
