Serious question: What if 20% of gov employees had to rejoin private sector?

Would that REALLY be such a bad thing?

RedFred 12-27-2018 10:25 AM

Would it be a bad thing if you got off your ass and got a job?

(said your mom)

I have a life. You sit on this board day and night. When you're not posting pro-russian shit here you're posting it on 5 other boards.

Yet here you are.. You keep missing 0's in my trolling efforts. The great thing about being self-employed is you don't have to worry about shut-downs... That is unless you tell yourself "I'm not working today" Yesterday I spent 7-8 hours leaning over the front of my truck changing the water pump.. You know, man shit.. Wore me the fuck out.. Taking the day off I guess.

Yet here you live.

Making 20 Rubles a week trolling is your idea of self employed? And a real man would have had that water pump changed in 2-3 hours.

I probably would have but I made the mistake of trying to move the compressor out of the way.. While prying it up the spacers were so tight I broke a seal on the compressor itself.. A real fucking pain in the ass.. A costly one too.. Then spent a fucking hour trying to get the goddamn bolt to match up on each side of it remounting. Again the spacers were so fucking tight I had to do movements on it with a 2lb hammer. Hit it too hard in one direction or the other the alignment was off... Really fucking sucked..

Scroll up and look back on this thread. Its funny how typical this is of threads lately. Most replies aren't about the topic, but people attacking each other. And no one is really interested in discussing the topic.

Don't get me wrong, I still enjoy it here. But maybe this degradation of the forum into a parody of itself is why TPTB decided not to do GFY awards this year. If I was running a big affiliate company, I'd probably be ashamed to get an award from all these clowns (no offense to clowns).

So back to the OT, jobs come and go. Its not that hard for anyone who wants a job to get one (thanks to Obama). Private sector jobs may not be as cozy or cushy. But sooner or later in everyone's life, you have to adapt or die.

They've already funded all but non-essential employees for 2019.. Why didn't they fund it all? Keywod: non-essential.. I think the plan is to keep the closure going for awhile... To get people use to not having those "non-essential" services... And to push those people back into the private sector.. This isn't just Trump or just Republicans or just Democrats... They are in this together... Yet pointing the finger at each other for show.. The private sector needs workers and the government needs to cut spending.. I'm not seeing an end to the fake fight anytime soon. Could be wrong.. But likely not...

Especially after they gaveled in today for 4 minutes and kicked the can down the road until the new year.. Dems think that opens the door for them but it doesn't.. Trump can veto anything he doesn't like and he'll have the Senate to back him up.. It's going to be nothing but a squabble for show for a good while.

On your other point IKR it's a first reaction to attack. It's funny actually...

They need those jobs

Unemployment is at an all-time low. Plenty of jobs available.

Paul Markham 12-28-2018 05:30 AM

Coffee shops and fast food outlets need more workers. Until they automate and start sacking people.

It would definitely save some money, but it'd probably be a bitch to make the workers learn how to do real work again.

This is because the person who started the thread is nothing but a troll who has no connection the industry, and their only intention was to start shit.

Damn near next to impossible I'd say.

Or as the title says. I asked a "Serious question"

One that liberals don't want to answer because they know what really should be done..... And that's send MOST back out into the private sector.. We all know some have to return.. But the majority should get off the public payroll.
