Any welders here?
 

I started going to welding school 6 weeks ago, it’s really fun and challenging type of work. I am learning stick welding (6010, 6013, 7018), hopefully at the end of the course I will get the G6 diploma.

I weld using TIG & MIG, but not stick as my projects use relatively thin gauge materials. I never got on well with stick as i like my hand nearer to the weld !!!!

Yes, it is fun. I also went to school for it. Arc, mig brazing tig, plasma cutting.

My brother is a welder for John Deere. Makes great money for early 20s. Lots of money in trades these days. Our generation was told to go to college and get a professional job, leaving so many trades hurting for workers.

Awesome...! Here in israel the school is for free covered by the country.
There is high demand for this job but not too much workers. So I took advantage and will see where this leads me.

I recently bought the Lincoln vioing 3350 helmet. Amazing product and great value.

If you can get your pressure ticket and get good at tig on stainless pipe lots of money to be made.
