Do Zombies scare you anymore?
 

I remember when movies like Night of the Living Dead (remake) would stick with me for months. But with the sudden surge in zombie movies, tv shows and fandom within the past 5 years. The creepiness of a reanimated corpse has lost all shock value.

You think they can pull of another scary zombie movie this day and age?

I'm prepped & ready for the zombie apocalypse :thumbsup

BTW I really liked the Bird Box movie did you see it? It's kind of a zombie like movie.

I haven't seen it yet. I'll check it tonight.

Bird box sucked balls a lot...a mystery appocalypse suddenly turns in to faggoty rafting...dude...

I wish a zombie appocalypse would break out...I have some kick ass crosbows and would order 1000s of arrows and make walking zombie hedgehogs out of them...or I would just break in the katana...a lot of chopping would get done...a sword breaks in after the100th zombie...

The rafting scene was lame :1orglaugh

In the book, at the end, its NOT a 'School for the blind'...

Its a bunch of people who have deliberately blinded themselves to keep safe, and she blinds the children and herself to join them...

No. I watched it last night. Ending was gay, but I enjoyed the rest.

I have no idea why they have machinegun kelly tho. That was odd. They could cut all his scenes out and nobody would miss 'em.

The last ones that scared me were the crazy ass zombies in Train to Busan. Once things got going, it was a nonstop fight for life by the main characters and it didn't let up for one minute. They kept barely escaping from one situation to end up in something even worse directly after.

Train to busan is some good shit...

Train to Busan is top 5 zombie movie. Easy.

The wife and I were like "please God! No more!" But in the best way posible.

After the zombies evolve

Movies that trash the original ending from a good book drive me nuts. Zemeckis did that with the movie Contact, too. Sagan's book ending was far better and satisfying than the movie version.

They've never scared me.
They move slow, and I know their weak spot. :)

watch day of the dead

The creator of a zombie story always has that initial important question....

Will they be fast zombies, but fewer in numbers like 28 Days Later? Will they be slow zombies but in huge numbers like Walking Dead? Or will they be fast and have huge numbers like World War Z?


World War Z zombies would seem like the scariest, but there's a lot you can do with all the scenaries. Here's a scene from 28 Weeks Later because it's so awesome.

Whole scene takes about 2 minutes but it feels longer.

Every once in a while, we agree.

Zombies never scared me.
