Someone told me today....

That it's 20 years since the release of The Matrix.

It's actually 19 but shit.

Edit: Yes, it's 20 years. That's like ages ago.

:helpme :Oh crap

:') Watched it with psyhead friends, high on acid, almost late from the cinema, it was magic, kind of 'game changer'. :pimp

My girlfriend and I loved it so much we ducked out and grabbed a ticket for the next screening and then went back to our seats! We were in gold class with recliners, food service, alcohol etc. The food service waitress said to us that we were the 4th couple she had served two sessions in a row!

PornDiscounts-V 01-09-2019 05:36 AM

Was a good flick for sure.

Scott McD 01-09-2019 06:49 AM

This is crazy.. :P

I know people who haven't seen Pulp Fiction ["too long" / "too complicated structure, can't really follow" and bullshit like this]. I don't make friends with people who did not see or enjoy Pulp Fiction. Most likely I am a prick, but.. I don't give a fuck ;)

I never even heard of the Matrix until sometime later a friend had it on DVD so we watched it when I said I'd never heard of it.

Im sure it was the first Mummy film i actually went to the cinema to see that day. Didnt start for another hour or so then i noticed a film called the Matrix was just about to start so got tickets for that instead. Glad i did as it is still one of my fav films of all time. The 2 sequels just got too over complicated though

And the Wachowski Brothers are now the Wachowski Sisters. Not judging. 20 years of cool work.

J. Falcon 01-09-2019 03:20 PM

My ex wife told me she'd went to see it 8 times at the movie theater when it came out. Later, when we were married, she must of watched at least another 10 times or more.
