The Mule - Movie
 

Big fan of Clint Eastwood and looking forward to this. Not out here (the UK) for another week yet. Anyone here seen it?

My parents saw it and loved it. I think I would have a difficult time watching Clint Eastwood play an old man.

I certainly wouldn't go to the cinema for it, but when it comes on Sky, I'll probably give it a watch :thumbsup

Not so much because its Clint Eastwood, but more for the premise of the plot.

Movies don't fend me from boredom like they used to . . .

I paid £5.49 to watch "The Meg" lol on Sky a few nights ago because i was bored. What a horrific movie that was :1orglaugh

I have never paid for a 'new release' on Sky. I just wait for them to be the 'Premier of the day' included in my sub :)

I saw it and I thought it was great. It was very much like Gran Torino.

It's rare that i do it but like i say was bored and thought right let's see what this shit is like.

And i was right. It was shit. Should just have watched Friends re-runs like usual :1orglaugh

I liked The Meg. No, it isn't a very good movie, but it is what it is, a big, loud, over the top, monster movie. It was fun, if you are in the right mood for it.

I'm not a fan of Clint Eastwood as a director. I even thought Unforgiven is pretty overrated.

But there's nothing in the world better than 60's or early 70's Clint Eastwood as an actor. The Sergio Leone westerns, Dirty Harry, Kelly's Heroes, Where Eagles Dare, etc. If I catch anything like that on TV I'll stop and watch. That guy was something special.

It's not what it should be...bot more often than not, it is.

I'm waiting for at least 4 GFYers to say they hate it cause then I will know I'll love it.

It looks like a good movie to rent when it comes out but I don't see myself going out to see it. :2 cents:

Saw it last night. Good flick. If you liked Grand Torino you will like this movie. Pretty much same type of story.

it's alright. pretty flat at the end and no character arc other than his, which is kind of weak.
