You don't seem to understand how these cases work, this is text book usage of specfic leaks so investigators can judge the reactions of those they are targeting. They are probably leaking this to shame Nunes publicly because He's obviously known they were targeting him for some time because he got all quiet as a mouse a few months back. He got scared by something and has had his head down low ever since .. This is likely Muller's putting the moves on him to turn him as a witness.
