Check this out... Pelosi cannot stop the President from showing up and making a speech; It's his right. However, she controls everything else - such as the cameras and the lights. She can simply declare the "House is not in session" and that's that.

Whatever. Trump is playing games with people's lives at this point, and is causing serious, long term damage to our national security. There is no sudden crisis at the Southern Border; Illegal immigration is way down. The vast majority of people (and drugs) come in via ports of entry, and the $5 billion he wants is only a fraction of the true cost. He needs to get the government started now.

The truth is Trump wants a wall and he damn well knows this is his last and only chance to get it. He is willing to shutdown the United States government to keep a campaign promise that most Americans oppose.
