The guy was being a dickhead. He should have just let them protest in peace. If he wanted to counter protest he could have just made a sign or something, but grilling meat in front of them is just made to hurt them emotionally.

I eat meat, but vegans have the right idea. The animals are severely mistreated, live in horrible conditions and face a horrific end. The meat industry contributes alot to global warming, etc. Then again, humans are meat eaters. It tastes good and in moderation is a necessary part of our diet. Reducing our intake and treating animals more humanely is something that needs to be addressed.

I didn't have to go past the 1st 2 minutes to see it's a fake set up vid. The vid starts out with narration from one of the "protesters" claiming he set up a BBQ across from them.. Then it jumps to him before he even set the BBQ up talking about what he was gonna do.....

Agreed, but thats why he did it. He could have just held a sign and debating with them on the pros and cons of eating meat, but he didn't do that. The protest in this case was about animal welfare, and people that care about animals can easily get emotional anytime they see any of them mistreated, or in this case, eaten.

Do this: Pretend that the trucks were full of dogs (or cats) instead of pigs. You want the the practice of eating dogs to stop. But across the street is a guy BBQ's Hot Dogs made out of dogs....see my point?

yup, I like to grill out and I hate the people that come to cookouts and ask if you have any non-meat stuff to eat. I mean if you want a veggie burger, bring it and I'd be happy to throw it on the grill. But so many get butthurt and just expect us to have veggie burgers at cookouts..
