Republicans cry of police brutality because the FBI had guns when arresting Roger Stone

LOL you can't make this shit up.. Republicans & Fox news are crying of police brutality and calling the FBI the Gestapo because they had guns when they arrested Roger Stone..

The same Republicans & Fox News chant about how the cops are in the right to do it to little black kids but a 66 year old white guy it's suddenly the Nazi's..

Daily Show sums it up pretty well..

The disconnect with these lunatics is mind blowing.. I guess they forgot about "blue lives matter"...

bronco67 01-29-2019 09:41 AM

What FBI agent is not going to show up for a pre-dawn raid unarmed? Do they understand how shit works?

And all of these people standing up for this worm in a human suit should take a look at their own character. Who the fuck is on the same side as this little scummy weasel ass motherfucker?

What did he say that was untrue? There were 20+ agents plus frogmen in the canal behind the house. More people than were used to raid the bin Laden compound. You guys are allergic to facts. Why is this so important you had to make a new thread? Your obsession is comical, crock-o-shit :1orglaugh

Bin Laden was raided, shot, killed and his body dumped into the ocean.

The comparison to Bin Laden as is your understanding of the world is comical and a crock-o-shit.

This is what Republicans must resort to: defending traitors and criminals and attacking the FBI. Comparing the FBI to Nazis, men and women who risk their lives to keep them safe domestically, conjuring up all kinds of crazy conspiracy theories. These are the marching orders they've received from their right wing masters and they must comply. Why? Because really they have nothing else. It's pathetic.

onwebcam 01-29-2019 10:36 AM

29 armed agents for a political fixer who got it wrong to begin with is a tad bit too much.. And that's why Mueller is done.

Exactly! :1orglaugh

Rochard 01-29-2019 12:14 PM

Roger Stone claims more FBI agents were involved in his arrest than the raid on Osama bin Laden.

If I recall correctly... There was two helicopters of Navy Seals were launched in the raid. I couldn't find exact numbers, but let's just assume two pilots per helio and six Seals per helio. That's fourteen people. Wasn't there a second group of helios for backup? So that is now 28 people. There was also US military jets flying to protect them, and multiple C130s involved.... Let's say four jets (four pilots) plus two C130s and their staff.... We are talking about forty or fifty people in the air that day alone in support of that raid. That doesn't include any of the people who helped in the training and planning for the raid, or the people on the ground in support of the mission the day of.

So, no, more FBI agents were not used in the early morning raid on Stone.

Fuck him. The FBI raided his house. And a second location too if I recall. This was a raid. Arresting Stone was only part of the raid; The other part was searching his residence and collecting whatever documents and computer gear they needed. So they needed boots on the ground to make it happen.

Not caring. He lied to the FBI. He might have committed treason. Fuck him. He is going to prison.

The "witch hunt" has caught seventeen witches so far. And paid for itself.

LOL.

TheSquealer 01-29-2019 02:10 PM

Except that Republicans are not "crying" about "police brutality"

It's a perfectly reasonable thing to ask "why the hell does this 66 yr old, unarmed man who is clearly not a risk to anyone on this planet require a 29 man tactical assault team, 2 boats and a helicopter to serve a simple arrest warrant".... and "why the hell was a CNN production crew present on a street that was fully blocked off by the FBI for everyone's security?

Violent Cartel meth manufacturers don't get this much man power to serve a warrant..... but i have to admit, your denial of simple facts has a certain charm to it.

Besides TheSquealer and Onwebcam, you people are hysrerical. No one I've seen has even mentioned "police brutality." What's your source Buzzfeed? HuffPo??

Stone is correct to point out that the raid team was larger than the team used to raid Bin Laden in Pakistan. He was right to point out the amphibious frog men in the canal behind his house. There is no need to waste resources like this when they could've just called and asked him to come in. Huge waste of money.

So once again it's people on the right who are about common sense and not wasting money.

You guys crack me up tho :1orglaugh

Acepimps words of wisdom....

TheSquealer 01-29-2019 02:47 PM

I know medics and tactical operators for king county washington that work on their task force to serve high risk warrants.... even for murderers, they don't go in with 1/2 the man power or firepower the FBI somehow deemed necessary for a 66 year old unarmed man who is not a threat to anyone at all. Helicopters? Boats? Frogmen? 29 armed agents to to do what a simple phone call to his attorney could have done?

The fact remains... they used more man power and firepower to serve a simple warrant against a person who posed no threat to anyone than was required to enter another country covertly, just down the road from their nations largest military academy, in a neighborhood of military elite and take down the worlds most wanted terrorist.

Sounds legit.

..... nothing political about it at all.....

Prosecutors draft indictments and litigate in court on behalf of The People. The FBI decides on how many people and what hardware is required in an arrest.

This was a "knock and announce" warrant service, not a no-knock arrest warrant. This plus the fact that they were FBI agents and not Seal Team 6. Stone is lying, like Trump does.

The reason they went and got him instead of asking him to come in is because he's a flight risk, and or concerns that he may have destroyed evidence.

While to you it may seem overkill to go and get a 60 year old man like this, but think about it carefully: He has alot to lose. He could go crazy, turn a gun on the FBI or on himself or his family. Getting him the way the FBI did was the right thing to do, considering his crimes, and considering his wealth.

Rochard 01-29-2019 03:15 PM

This shouldn't even be a discussion. They could have just arranged to have him arrested at his attorney's office. However, this wasn't an arrest; It was an arrest and a raid. They wanted to arrest Stone AND search his residence. (Both of them.) So.... a standard arrest wouldn't have accomplished their goal.
