USA must start a new war. Otherwise, the economy would be in serious trouble. As always, preparation is done with economic sanctions just as in every other case of invasion and looting that is done directly or indirectly by local scumbags (freedom fighters, poor repressed people, democratic forces and other crap tons of people are still ready to swallow) supported by USA.
Venezuela is not only about the oil. It is about the market, geo position and natural resources. This is a beautiful country rich with forests, sea access, land, minerals, etc.
Attacking Venezuela and placing puppet regime on power and gaining access to oil would make global oil price change, oil prices could go down what will affect Russians. Basically, every single move there is already seen so many times.
When the USA can't attack someone or conflict would be too serious, it will try to make people living here to be mad and frustrated by a ruined economy.
Majority of people in every country are dumb and stupid so it is easy to manipulate them. Most of them believe in promises. GFY is a perfect example of that, how many nicks here still believe that Asad is a bad guy, that Ghadafi was a bad guy or that Maduro is a new villain. And it works every single time it doesn't matter how stupid or unrealistic it is.
Venezuelan people are lazy, that's true. Reason for that is too complicated to explain but at the end, it is their right. People there were under Spanish colonial rule for too long. As every ruler and colonial power, they wanted and did everything to keep them uneducated and dependent. The same Spain that is now supporting mess together with the USA.
Majority of the people is still uneducated and the basic move to eliminate poverty is education, social security and free healthcare. Just what Chavez was doing for years when cancer stopped his efforts (otherwise, they would stay stuck with millions of violent and clueless people, something similar to the black population in USA).
Exhausted by economic sanctions placed by USA, all this is already seen scenario. Make people mad, blame it on one person (Maduro) then promise better times as soon as he is out of power and a new government is established. Of course, the new government is organized and financed by USA. If they manage to get on power, they will have to pay a debt to those who helped them get there.
It failed in Syria because of Russians but the price was high. Hopefully, it won't be repeated in Venezuela.
