Very respected former spies believe that the Pee Tape is an anachronism of counter-intelligence. If tapes exist then they are most probably not going to be a Trump water sports fantasy played out in a Russian hotel.

Counter-intelligence investigations turn up things of minute detail that can turn a whole investigation on it's head. Christopher Steele did not spend 20 years analysing the president and what Putin may or may not have on him.

Even Steele said they had one on Hillary as well maybe not quiet as "pissy" but they had it ready.

This is all complex. There are some good and fairly balanced analysts with real intelligence or counter-intelligence experience who explain that complexity very well.

Personally I think given the world political environment it doesn't matter if there's a tape or not, Putin has seen America divided and that suits his purposes just fine. If he has any kompromat on anyone then that's just his icing on the cake.

If a real recording of Trump instructing hookers to piss on a bed ever emerges, I don't think it will make any difference. Redhats, and even some libbies like me, will just say "Meh".

If they pissed all over his face, so what - its a fetish for some, and again, I don't really care what polticians do in their private lives (unless it contradicts their own polices - gay bash in public, gay sex in private for example).

If I were pooty and I had video of Trump telling girls to piss on a bed, I wouldn't be too thrilled. I could dangle it over DT's head and make him do things but it works only if tRump's afraid of it. If it was ever released, Poot would have less power over him, and Trump's polling numbers would not be affected much.

However, if the recording is worse than this...
