I think the abortion issue is a way of conservative men controlling a woman's right to give and take life. Conservative men want to have control of that. They used to be against birth control as well. Like you said, God complex.

What I don't understand about partial birth abortion is how can a mother's life be at risk when she's giving birth to the baby and it's being killed with only its head left inside her vagina and then as soon as its brains are scrambled with the instrument they pull the head out. So clearly the mother was never in danger of the birth so that can't be the rationale for having the abortion.

It's a right/left issue because conservatives are against birth control and against abortion. They want all abortions illegal and no birth control available.

Evolution has give human women the power to nuture, and kill, new life in their bodies. Period. Trying to take that power away is inhumane.

Conservatives are all about telling people what they can't do with their bodies, who they can legally commit to love, outlawing Gay sex, etc. Conservatives are all about creating inequality, the Christian "cast" system of society. Here's an idea ...

If they want to abort a healthy baby at 7 months or beyond they induce labor, or C section, deliver the baby and custody goes to the state. If the babies aborted they still go through labor and have the miscarriage of the dead baby anyway, so going through the process for a live baby makes no difference :2 cents:
