Why is this no kidnapping?
I'll tell you why.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gCFJ1pGyFYQ . . . . . It's not kidnapping because none of the salon people were named OJ Simpson. That's about it. OJ's property was stolen by the people in the hotel room. https://youtu.be/VDNTBy2JDpg?t=470 :2 cents: |
How do you connect this to OJ Simpson? As far as the Salon thing that is 100% kidnapping. You can not hold someone against their will, it doesn't matter if they owe you money or have your property. If you block someone's car and refuse to allow them to leave that is technically kidnapping as well.

I am not sure how it connects to Simpson either. In the U.S. that would surely be kidnapping but the video is from Canada so the rules might be different.

OJ got 33 years in prison for kidnapping because he said "Don't let anyone leave" the room. But these people did the same thing and even got physical. |

Patriarchy = bad. I rebuke your white supremacy. |
So... a video of some white trash idiots in a Canadian nail salon means that OJ is innocent for entering a hotel room with a pistol and holding the man there against his will??
You need to wear a helmet |
incidentally, i just happened to be thinking.... wasn't OJ going to reclaim sports memorabilia with a gun, which he claimed was taken from him, even though he was ordered by the courts to auction it all off to pay the Goldmans?

Seems to be kidnapping to me. Or at least holding her against her will.
I have no idea. This happened last year in Canada, and I couldn't find any follow up about the incident. Most likely this is still in the court system. |
