A White House official told CNN late Thursday night that Trump would announce his executive actions, including a national emergency, at 10 a.m. Friday. The move will allow for about $8 billion for border barriers, and the official said the money would come from:

$1.375 billion in the Homeland Security appropriations bill. Congress said those funds cannot be used to build a wall but can be used to construct other types of barriers.

$600 million from the Treasury Department's drug forfeiture fund, which would come from an executive action.

$2.5 billion in Defense Department's drug interdiction program, which would come from an executive action.

Plus $3.5 billion from the Defense Department military construction budget, which would require the emergency declaration.

There's no fucking wall coming. Trump building anything that resembles the wall he's been talking about with the pittance of money he'll scrape together is an insurmountable feat. The POTUS has the right to declare a national state of emergency. It has already been done 58 times. The POTUS as commander in cheif can order the military to build the wall. The POTUS can authorize the military to draw raw steel from the strategic reserve. The only thing that either congress or the courts can do is try to interfere with appropriations. But, since the military budget is already appropriated and the raw materials are already paid for, not much they will be able to do there.

So the POTUS can declare a state of emergency, send in the troops, and he WILL get his dummy back !

What a lot of people don't realize is that 75% of the land that the bonespur twat wants to build his vanity wall on is privately owned.

They will have to go to court to get it and if a recent case is anything to go by that can and probably will take decades. After which time they can seize the land. But by this time Chump will no longer be a failed president and the next Democratic president can revoke the whole deal and invest in strategies that will actually control illegal immigration. :thumbsup

This is why a lot of the border wall doesn't exist in Texas. They fight any administration from taking their land for the wall and insist it's not needed. An abuse of eminent domain.
