I use Google news, and I've noticed they have a category named "For you" which is "Recommended based on your interests". It has an article on Roger Stone, an article about MS Surface, and an article about NASA.

The shame about this is there's no code to train the model. OpenAI won't release it.

All we have been given is a tiny sample model that we can extract results from but can't train.

It does kind of go against the spirit of OpenAI to release something and still keep it closed, but the paper tells you everything needed to build and train your own model.

I was doing the same thing in 2003 with a custom text generator, a keyword, and a tag.

Paris Hilton tried to sue me over it.

It's not hard. All it did was take a keyword (recycling) and assign it a control variable (negative) and then spit out scraped text with the keyword and the control.

Actually they already released the full code in the last 2 years. I'm not linking to it. There have been 23 upgrade mods since then. The problem with that idea is that some very well respected journalists have been caught occasionally copy pasting other work, reports or whatever.

When you read anything, be it a technical journal or a newspaper article or even a book, you need to take a zero trust approach and critically think through every proposition put to you.

I have better LSTM Text Generation models that I have already been working with that surpass the limited GPT-2 117M Model.
