It's same thing like the houses they sell for $1 in Italy. A city in Italy pays $50k or $100k for a house, and then collects taxes from you for the next ten to sixty years depending on how long you live and how long you live there.

Look at the welfare stats here in the US. It's a rite of passage for these people. We're talking 3 and 4 generations of doing nothing but pumping out kids and getting on the government dole. They don't pay any taxes, and as a matter of fact each one are about a 500k lifetime net negative.

Well a normal generation might be 25 years but these people have kids when they're 16, and their offspring follow suit and then their grandkids are 16 having kids...etc.

I have a grandmother I rent to that's been on one form of government assistance for 40 years, her kids are all on it and she just called me because her granddaughter needs place (section8). So yeah, there are 3 generations of them abusing the system.

Oddly enough she is Puerto Rican. She's a super nice lady and a great tenant. Very clean, plants flowers and decorates on all the holidays. She's smart. She knows the system better than the people working there. I see her on facebook conversing with all the people that run the section8 housing. all buddy-buddy with them. She has 3 kids and 2 of them are on the dole too. Now and her grand daughter is on it. They teach their kids not to go to school and get a job but to be a baby factory and never have to work a day. It's fucked up.

I grew up around many Puerto Ricans and there were good and bad but one thing across all of them, they all had tight knit families. All were very very close. I always admired that.

I don't know if that's the necessary order but he is right. Many of those things contribute to unemployment. Do you think they would have pushed NAFTA through 25 years ago if they new what it would do to US jobs and how it would transform China? I doubt it very much.
