If i am reading enough between the lines of both the congressional committee and companies that were to supply the tech (or their competitors) They wanted to build nuclear power plants.
But I would have you know that it would not be a normal power plant we might build here in the states for just electrical power.

Just as the dept of navy ran nuke plants that were 'breeder reactors' that make more nuclear material than they start with. That byproduct can be further refined to weapons grade material.

Now about the rest of the tech to make that happen ???
We will have to wait till the investigation gets further along.

Likely nothing since it was not the target and I doubt any of the leads from Russia have ties to the Saudi's on these other issues.
