What has the weather been like where you live?

In the last two years it has rained constantly here in the south.. To such an insane degree I'm actually thinking about selling and moving to a state with proven minimal rainfall.

When it's not raining, it's cloudy and overcast. No joke, there has been maybe 8 sunny days this past year, and they were still "wet" from residual downfall.

I travel to Lousiana and Georgia quite a bit for mainstream work, and it's constantly raining and cloudy there too. These were once considered sunny states. Even just three years ago there was a huge difference, and much more sunshine.

Maybe it's just me getting older, but fuck Im getting tired of it.

Sadly Bladewire is under the impression that people actually listen to him. But I'd be tap dancing too if my funding were on the line..

But seriously, I've never seen rain like I have this past year. I'm not a big "man-made" climate change guy (I think our personal impact negligible compared to earths native cycles) but I remember plenty of sunshine just a few years ago..

To the point where my dog literally sun spotted her forehead and gave herself cataracts in under two years from nudging under the curtain and plopping in front of the full length window in my office room.

That was just a few years ago.. and again I'm not exaggerating when I say 8 DAYS OF SUNLIGHT THIS PAST YEAR.

Flooding rains every week vs a drought a couple years back :helpme

This is one instance where I truly am envious of Californians.

Weather is amazing, and it's worth a feel

to stay on topic: it's fairly normal here but i hate HATE our humid 35+ cels (for US folks: 3 digits fahrenheit) summers.

MFCT 02-21-2019 02:13 AM

I blame it on glo...I mean climate change. Soon, every nation on earth will be a tropical paradise like Hawaii with palm trees and tropical flowers and the whole 9 yards.

That kind of climate will kill us all. :(

Dry and chilly here in Colorado, plenty of warm sunshine through out the day! love it here!

Busty2 02-21-2019 05:14 AM

Here in Maine it's snowing again and around 21F

Funny Americans think that in the UK its always raining but compared to Maine UK is a desert. The UK gets around 25" a year Maine gets 44" of rain so stay away!

NatalieK 02-21-2019 06:21 AM

canīt remember the last day it rained, maybe mid november...

Itīs about 17c as itīs winter, itīs been about 17c day time for the past 2 months, looking forward to spring when we rise above 24 ready for summer 30īs...

I love where I live, the most healthiest & amazing climate in the whole world :)

I hear what you're saying. I couldn't stand that. I like sunlight.

Too many days of overcast skies and rain would make me depressed. Here in Montreal Canada, its always overcast and wet and raining and it just kills my spirit.

Friends of mine who live in Vancouver say its almost always overcast, like Seattle I am told. And in Calgary Alberta, the sun sets at 3pm in the winter. Fuck that, I couldn't live in either of those places.

brassmonkey 02-21-2019 07:52 AM

raining like crazy

sperbonzo 02-21-2019 08:13 AM

Miami has been mostly sunny, and in the low 80s.....

Is there some kind of weather thing going on in other places? I don't really pay attention......

Yep its rough, just cleared another 12" of snow and we are expecting more on Sunday !!!!. After living in San Diego for 16 years it's difficult getting use to this weather. Plus remember spring brings the black fly season, then you have horse flys that can bite the crap out of you! It's all fun here ?
