Is that because you cunt a4ord to buy anything ?

The standard rate of VAT in the UK increased to 20% on 4 January 2011 (from 17.5%). Some things are exempt from VAT , eg postage stamps, financial and property transactions. The VAT rate businesses charge depends on their goods and services. Check the rates of VAT on different goods and services.

JamesDrews 02-25-2019 10:05 AM

21% tariff and 9% on food, medicines, books etc

Yeah, but Im talking about sales tax. Like when you order a 99c item at a fast food stand in California, but get charged $1.03c when you come to pay.

But even when you are paying VAT, it's not like its an extra charge on top of cost of the service. They have to factor VAT into the price they give me, at their end, and if I feel they want too much, I can always go elsewhere...
