So many great acting performances this year and this guy wins for imitating Freddie Mercury, which most of us could do in our sleep.

Ryan Gosling in First Man was amazing (not even nominated).

Bradley Cooper was even more amazing.

Christian Bale's sneezes could win an Oscar.

I didn't like First Man at all.

It was so dull and so boring. There was way too much shaky-cam and way WAYYYY too much ultra-ultra-ultra-close-ups.

And plus, while I like some of Ryan Goslings movies, I'm not a fan of his acting. He always looks the same in every part.

Watch this:

This is him in almost every movie. Same face, same expression. I mean watch what's happening. He's concerned about what Joi is doing, and then he realizes he's about to have the freakiest sex ever, and NOTHING.

Now compared with his performance in STAY: (SPOLIER ALERT! Don't watch if you haven't seen this movie)

He was so much better in Stay. You really thought there was something wrong with him, and thought there was something more going on with him at the same time. I thought his performance in Stay was excellent.

I agree on Gosling. He does the same shit in Only God Forgives. You could watch many of his movies back to back and it's like he is playing the same character through all of them.
