Another Ones Bites The Dust - Fucking Drugs Again...
 

I Just got word that another good friend of mine died in Spain - 34 years old - Fucking drugs again - The last time I saw her was at Andy's funeral last year - Same sort of age and same reason...

Most of you know I am not an angel - I drink like a fish and have tried to give up smoking more times than I can count - Why get on this heavy duty shit though? - It WILL fuck you up.....

She could speak 4 languages better than most people can speak 1 - I lived with her for a year - If you look back I am sure there are posts here with me telling you about her latest misadventures - I could have written a book...

I just have this horrid picture in my head of her laying dead on a rotting mattress in some shithole - Damn.....

My condolences.

I've lost more close friends and family members in the past 6 years than I want to count. Same situation. It's fucked up. Real epidemic nobody seems to care enough about.

That's a very sad way to go. And agreed, 34 is way too young. Hopefully this will discourage anyone who knew her from ever daring to go down that same road, or get off while they still can.

Yeah condolences. It's really shitty when anyone you know dies - whatever the circumstances.

I'm kinda in the same boat - drink what I want when I want if my work and responsibilities are done. And same as you, I don't even touch anything more than alcohol and I don't even like weed (though I know weed is less damaging).

Sucks. From what I gather it's a spiral you just can't shake. Just like the simple habit of daily drinking. Only the other stuff gets you by surprise and alcohol is a slow process.

Addiction is a very tricky business...
