It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I bring you the news that porn star Violet Rain has passed away.

She OD'd in a club in Hollywood this week and was rushed to the hospital. While at the hospital she fell into a coma and died. She was just 19 years old.

From what I'm being told cocaine laced with fentanyl is making a comeback on the club scene. The reported cases of ODing from such a combo has skyrocketed in the past few years, something like 400%.

Correction: She was admitted to the hospital and fell into a coma. Her good friend (a fellow porn star) went to visit her on Monday, March 4th. That is when her family arrived from Arizona. Her friend left at that time, so that her family could be alone with her.

She then went back to the hospital to check on her yesterday and it was apparently after that visit she died, not on Monday, March 4th as I had originally stated.

Her death has also been independently confirmed from the owner of the model house where she said at for the last 6 months.

Having had a little experience with drugs over my lifetime, I wonder why anyone would lace cocaine with fentanyl. Surely the best drug to mix with blow is alcohol, and wouldn't fentanyl just take the fun out of the coke?

Sadly their and avn's only source was her agent, who hadn't spoken with her family nor had they been to the hospital.

We have multiple sources that have confirmed she has in fact died.

Dave from Motley Models put out what I think he knew based on talking to a friend of a friend. He was not in communication with anyone that was actually there.

AVN and XBIZ both said in their story that their source was Dave from Motley Models.

AVN called their article – “Motley Models Owner Dave Rock: Violet Rain on Life Support”

XBIZ put their info in the body — “According to her agent, Dave Rock of Motley Models, “It was communicated to us by a friend of Violet Rain’s that she was admitted to the hospital Monday morning in critical condition. The alleged reason for the admittance was due to a drug overdose.”

So XBIZ and AVN wrote an article based on something a friend of a friend told them without even checking the facts or people that were actually present.

While I can't say for sure because I wasn't there, it sounds to me after speaking with a few of the girls she frequents the club scene with, she had gotten it from a shady dealer/club promoter and didn't likely know.
