Mr Pheer 03-12-2019 12:21 AM

Why did they remake this one? Wasn't anything wrong with the first one.

They should have remade part 2 instead, that one sucked.

jscott 03-12-2019 04:54 AM

Darkcrni 03-12-2019 07:50 AM

Remakes are usually done every 15-20 years to make a story current with a new generation.

CaptainHowdy 03-12-2019 08:54 AM

That is a hard one to top . . .

2MuchMark 03-12-2019 09:10 AM

It may suck because (a) its a remake and (b) it has 2 directors without any interesting credits. Then again maybe the filmmakers know this and will decide to go all-out and experimental with this movie which lets face it, is what any remake really needs. We shall see.

PR_Glen 03-12-2019 10:25 AM

I can barely watch the original again, that movie freaks me the fuck out. this one seems to continue the tradition.

I always wondered why when Gage came back, didn't really look like he had been hit by a logging truck moving at 60 mph. And wasn't his foot inside the shoe on the pavement?

aimike 03-12-2019 02:23 PM

No movies ever scare me

Same here. Though jump scares do happen.

Still would check it out. I used to watch 1 and 2 religiously (among others)

I first saw that movie when I was in the Navy. The base theater was empty and I was alone. That's the only time I can ever remember being truly creeped the fuck out in a theater. The Zelda part had me white knuckling the armrest.

The Exorcist is the only movie that freaked me out.

Not sure if it would bother me anymore today though.
