Popunders and google...

So what are the best safest ad companies today that offers popunders that are google safe? Thanks

AdultKing 03-15-2019 01:58 PM

There aren't any.

Popunders are abusive ad experiences.

Google renders the whole page including popups when crawling.

Best advice, remove them, you may get away with them for a little while but when every ad on your site is blocked by Chrome you'll not find it easy to remedy.

from googles POV, popunders are bad., so if they find popunders, they will notify you, you have to remove them, submit site for re evaluation., if passed., all good., if failed., all ads gets blocked on your weebsite, even banners., and target=_blank links wont open.

Thank for your comments guys.

So far, I have a clean site. No popups of any kind, only 2 banners all across the site. Google is treating the site well and traffic is increasing on a daily basis with low bounce rates and almost 6 minutes average time spent for a user on site. Which is very good imo.

So thats my main concern by putting these kinds of ads... the stats will definitely feel it. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to monetize like that but thanks to this thread I’ll think I’ll search for a better ways... 👍

PopAds.net claims that their popunders code can avoid Google bots/checkings.

However...

I see some high traffic websites loaded with pops... seems like they bypass that somehow and still get alot of organic traffic. I wonder how they manage to pull this off

It do no matter is it manually or automated , it can be always hidden from their eyes, you just need to use proper methods.

what are those methods ?

other than checking user agent as google bot ?
or maybe ip address range google bot uses ?

3xmedia 03-17-2019 04:52 AM

most big porn sites still use pops.

wankawonk 03-17-2019 11:01 AM

Hide them behind cookies, cloak them with user-agent detection, and set them to trigger on specific links (no click-anywhere pops), and you'll be fine

247mg 03-17-2019 11:34 AM

Exo has this feature but you need to edit your css file a d put code i their pop code so it only triggered when clicked on specific link

For some users popunders are abusive, fact. But they are actually working! And in our practice, popunders show themselves as one of the best promo tools in terms of converting :thumbsup

Crazy I had to scroll halfway down the page to find someone who actually knows what they're talking about on GFY. :2 cents:
