does it put domain from where ads are being served in banlist ?
or some other method ? i am asking this, becuase what happens if i setup my own revive ad server on a new domain example.com and adblock guys puts it on their adblock list, all my site's ads will get banned i.e. wont be visible. so what is workaround this ? Thanks. what if i get somdomain on cloudfront.net i.e. on Amazon Web Service cdn, can they still put my domain on ban list ? thanks |

example.com/ads/300x250.html something like this. if they ban my site domain then site wont be acceisble to them., i guess. |
1. Ad blockers are usually more about large ad networks. If you're serving a few banner ads from your own site, you probably won't appear on their radar (although some blockers will block known ad sizes)
2. People who run ad blockers are usually using them for a reason. Trying to find a way around their blocker is just going to piss them off. |

Thank you. my plan is to serve ads to lots of sites i own from a single domain , instead of changing banners code every few days on each site, i want to rotate ads and a single code which ican use , so i dont have to touch the code again, i can just manage ads from ad server. so i am worried about if my ad serving domain gets listed on adblockers list., then what. so i am thinking , is it better to use ad server or just keep using manual method to change ad banners every couple of days on all of my sites. |
no way you should really work around this..

They block based on various patterns, you can actually see those patterns when you open settings of adlbock extension . First thing what you want to avoid, is to use word "ads" in any variation, no matter is it domain name or an text in website. There is no need to use odd shaped banners, you can use regular sizes and still bypass it. Also, you should host banners localy, and use random generated names for both banner names and banner directory.

before they just checked the location of the banner. if this location was blacklisted the banner did not show up. with the change a few month ago they are blocking ads also because of their target URL. that mean: even when the banner location URL is not on the blocklist but the target URL is there, the banner will not appear. a workaround is not trivial and the solution will never be an ultimate as the blocklist is dynamic. and you have to keep in mind that ABP gives users the option to make their own private blocklist. |
An adblocker? What is that?

They also has a keyword blacklist, so if you load example.com/ads.js it will block that file from loading on example.com because it has the word "ads" in it. So if you are loading it from your own domain use something like example.com/randomtext.js
