Word on the alternative news websites is that the investigation was getting too close to high profile participants. Kamala Harris and Corey Booker are suspected. They had an anti-lynching bill, are friends with Smollett and suddenly Smollett is "lynched."

Now Chicago mayor Emanuel is interested in the drama after trying to stay low key. He is likely going to run for president and would obviously love to see Harris and Booker (two more candidates) taken out of the running.

If Smollet was a white guy, Trump would not be getting involved. He has a need to be the hero for his white supremacist buddies.

I think Smollet should go to jail for what he did, but the president of the United States shouldn't be getting involved in local cases like this. What a shit stain he is.
