London Mosque on Lockdown after Terrorist Incident - 1 Dead

Armed police have swooped on a mosque near Regent's Park in the hunt for suspects after a man was stabbed to death in central London.

A man was found with stab wounds at a housing block in Cunningham Place, Westminster, at about 6.15pm on Thursday. The suspects had fled the scene, police said.

A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police said the incident was linked to police activity at the mosque, where pictures showed a large number of police on the scene.

John Stealer, a taxi driver who drove by the scene, told the Standard: "I could see a massive police presence outside the mosque and I could hear the helicopter above.

"I could see the flashing lights from a distance.

"When I heard the buzz of the helicopter I thought it was being taken seriously."

Another witness told the Standard gates around the mosque were locked and there was "a mass of people" outside.

Some people were said to be unable to leave the mosque though a number have started to be allowed to exit, according to reports.

A single stabbing is a terrorist incident out there?

Shit, America might be the terrorist capital. Even I've been terrorized in my right hand twice.

The attempted terrorist event happened in the mosque but the attempt was thwarted. The suspect then ended up at the block of flats where the stabbing occurred.

So a Muslim was terrorizing a mosque? Got his ass kicked so he terrorized somebody else a few blocks away?

That makes no sense. Next time just admit you have no rebuttal. It's ok. That's what debating is about. You learned something.

There's nothing to rebut. School and mass shootings are not terror attacks. They are usually not politically or religiously motivated.

He's not here to debate.

He's here to post propoganda.

He will ignore what you say and post propaganda like he never heard you or didn't understand you.

It's called gaslighting.

Gaslighting

"A form of intimidation, sometimes called Ambient Abuse, where false information is presented to the victim, making them doubt their own memory, perception and quite often, their sanity.

The classic example of gaslighting is to switch something around on someone that you know they're sure to notice, but then deny knowing anything about it, and to explain that they "must be imagining things" when they challenge these changes.

A more psychological definition of gaslighting is "an increasing frequency of systematically withholding factual information from, and/or providing false information to, the victim - having the gradual effect of making them anxious, confused, and less able to trust their own memory and perception."
