An Affiliate Banner Alternative
If you have banners throughout your website linked to an affiliate paysite. Consider this...
Link your banners to a review page on your domain. The review page can have an article about the paysite along with a few free samples. The only page with an out link will be your review page. This is a good way to reduce your outbound links. Heavy in-links and light out-links will help boost your Domain Authority. |
The promo galleries in my affiliate program are already created with a link that goes directly to my paysite, but I'd be more than willing to give any interested affiliates a free pass to TrueAmateurModels.com so that they can download some pictures and use them to link to the review site.
Contact me, if interested. The content that I shoot has been converting into sales on a very regular and ongoing basis, throughout every day and evening. A regular and steady flow of affiliates sales and re-bill sales coming though. But sure, it wouldn't hurt to at least try linking to a review site in order to see what happens. I'm always up for new marketing ideas that could generate extra affiliate sales. |
I've read that Google considers sub.domains to be their own index page. So getting a link from your own sub.domains it's like getting index page back links. I wonder how it would effect your domain authority if you used affiliate sub.domain links instead of the regular affiliate linking code structure? Each affiliate linking to your sub.domains from their domains.
