WEBSTER PARISH, LA (KSLA) - A Bossier City police officer, who was arrested for animal sex abuse, is now in custody for child pornography.

Terry Yetman, of Bossier City, has been charged with 31 counts of possession of pornography involving juveniles. He was taken into custody Friday, April 12 in Webster Parish.

U.S. Marshals and Louisiana State Police were involved in the arrest.

Back in December, Yetman turned himself in to the Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office. He was subsequently booked at the Bossier Max Correctional Center and charged with 20 counts of sexual abuse of animals by performing sexual acts with an animal and 20 counts of sexual abuse of animals by filming sexual acts with an animal.

Yetman’s bond is currently set at $620,000.00. However, additional charges could be filed.

Not that I would ever grill or kill or eat a dog, but just out of curiosity, why is a dog’s life more valuable than the pig’s life?

My dogs:

* Protect my home and family
* Play with my grandchildren
* Sleep at the foot of my bed
* Pull my wife to the floor before she has an epileptic seizure
* Go fishing and hunting with me
* Play games with me
* Pull a grocery cart for my wife

Now don't get me wrong. I'm not some bleeding heart vegetarian screaming to never harm animals. But I do believe in the ethical treatment and slaughter of a creature... Plus I admit that I tend to like animals better than I do most humans beings.

To this effect, if I see anyone torturing or abusing any animal I would happily put a slug in that son of a bitch's brain.

I used to hunt when I was a kid. I lived in rural NJ, and although we had a permit, we just hunted on the farm next to us. It was huge. I joined the Marines and never hunted again. There is zero sport in shooting something that does not shoot back.
