So it begins. Republicans are starting to call for impeachment

Republicans for the Rule of Law, a conservative group whose stated purpose is "defending the institutions of our republic," will run an advertisement on Fox News over the weekend urging GOP lawmakers to hold Trump accountable over the findings in Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report on Russian interference and possible collusion between the Trump campaign team and Kremlin officials.

“It's clear from the report today that there's a lot of political interference that was attempted [by Trump],” Sarah Longwell, executive director of Republicans for the Rule of Law, told Newsweek. “This is not the end of the Mueller investigation, this is just the beginning. It looks like the Mueller report really is a road map for Congress. And that there was no exoneration, definitely obstruction.

51 Republicans and 49 Democrats in the Senate.. Only 3 Republicans have to find their spine and have an ounce of patriotism..

Conviction in the Senate requires 2/3, I think. So that is 67 votes needed. So, if all Dems went for it they would still need 18 Repubs to move over.

Ok, that could be true I'd have to look it up. The House can still impeach and if nothing else he is officially impeached. Then it puts Republicans on record in the Senate of supporting a cover up if they vote no.

There are too many spineless Democrats that wont even go for it

Many democrats fear unrest if this happens.

Na I think today is different. People know with out a doubt that they were lied to by Barr and that Trump is guilty. The hard cores wont accept it, but deep down they know Trump is guilty.

Pelosi is the problem, she is too worried about power and not about doing the right thing. She will be forced into doing the right thing because there will be enough Democrats that will force the issue.

The simple fact is.. If what the Muller Report says does not require impeachment, then we might as well throw away the entire impeachment process because if what Trump has does doesn't result in impeachment, we might as well not even have that option because there has never been crimes committed by a US president more serious than what Trump has done.

Pelosi need to get her fucking act together and get on with it, because what we saw today is serious as bad as I expected the Muller report to be and we didn't even see the important parts.

Added to this we now know there is I think 14 ongoing investigation stemming from the Muller report..

There is zero question that Trump committed obstruction of justice and even if they can't "pin" Conspiracy on Trump to get a conviction in a court of law, it's very clear he took help from Russia willfully. He is a traitor.

If Trump is not held accountable then the next one will be worse.. This is a defining point in our rule of law.

GAMEFINEST 04-18-2019 09:22 PM

I doubt it will happen

King Mark 04-18-2019 09:27 PM

Impeachment ain't worthwhile at this point. Would be nice, but there's only 18 months left of this orange dork. There's zero chance for a second term.

Dude, there was no wrongdoing. You just keep getting duped by the lying democrat media. It's fascinating to watch how insane you've become.

This is your news source:

LOL - What changed? Today just made the same facts we've been discussing and debating official? Or were the Republicans forced to accept the truth they have been denying for two years?

The Republicans should be pushing to impeach and remove Trump. Trump is horrible. Pence would become President, Pelosi would become VP, and we might actually have a chance to have a bipartisan White House.

^^ Bladewire hates women in power. Must be awful to be so consumed by hatred of Trump & his staff. The ongoing psychosis can't be healthy.

^^ Completely insane. The media is bullshitting you, man.

There's no wrongdoing. You guys better get ready for the coming indictments of those involved in the FISA abuse scandal. I'd hate for you guys to have a serious nervous breakdown.

There is no longer any hiding it.. Sure anyone with a ounce of brains knew what would be in the Muller report, but until today Republicans could claim it was all a witch hunt and every other excuse in the book. Now it's all there in writing. They can no longer deny it..

Trump obstructed justice, he lied non stop about it and he was involved with Russian at every turn. On top of this he had his AG lie again to the American public while knowing that the report would be seen with-in weeks at that point..

Trump is officially a un-indicted criminal. There is no longer any hiding that and they can't claim oh it was just paying for his porn star Bj.. Now it's conspiracy & obstruction.

Its in the report.. the FISA used had 3 times the info required compared to other cases, while "FISA abuse" might be looked at, in Trumps case they had more reasons than is usually required.

--

One of the major things in Mueller report is that the president declined to be interviewed, and then submitted answers that were.. " inadequate and incoherent "

And Mueller accepted them... "because he was running out of time and didn't want a substantial delay at a late stage in the inquiry"

.. think about that for a few seconds ok.. and then realise they're going to drag Trumps ass in to testify before congress, based on Muellers response.

Actually Muller did not accept the answers. The report states Muller asked follow up questions and Trump refused to answer them.

Trump once again lied claiming he cooperated fully.. Most of his answers were "I don't recall".

^^ ALL LIES. Paying a foreign spy to make up a fake dossier is NOT a valid reason to get FISA warrants.

AND

Robert Mueller Interviewed President Trump Six Days After Criminal “Obstruction” Investigation Began…

FACTS.
